Quiet Day
I realized that if I need to leave for the train trip from here, I need a carryon suitcase, and mine's in Urbana. I found a not-too-expensive one on Amazon, but I won't order it until closer to the time. I also looked at stylish short-sleeved tops on Nordstrom Rack because I want to be stylish in San Francisco.
The mower guy wanted to come this morning, so I was running around moving the cars, which were parked on the grass because of the junk guys. He said to let him know if I want anything trimmed. Meanwhile the cats were agitated because I was up but hadn't fed them yet. Now all is forgiven.
One Second Everyday folks: I have a video, but how do I save the snippet to the day? Never mind. I saw a YouTube video and figured it out. Of course, once I took the video, Mimi was rolling on her back and looking silly. I told her she had to do it again so that I can take a video. She does that fairly often.
It occurred to me that I could join the Y online, and sure enough, I could (done). I assume that they'll send me the membership card? That saves me a trip.
Took a nap. Got a really bad case of the shakes. Ate something, which should help, but I also found out that the resale shop is open to six today and four on Sunday. I should be able to lie down for a little while. Hmm. There is rain heading our way today and tomorrow. Woke up from my nap at 5:30. Oops. It didn't rain.
There's a robin's nest in a tree in the front yard. Momma and Daddy Robin are being run ragged feeding the little ones. They're fun to watch. One of them will call the other one to help.
I'm trying to figure out how to stage the clothes bags downstairs so that I can just grab them tomorrow. Worked on on the kitchen and breezeway. Cats: as long as you're sitting there Mommy, can you feed us? Yeah, okay.
Oh crap. Mom has an $825 medical bill. Guess that I need to pay it. I have a couple of other bills to pay too.
It's really humid. My glasses keep fogging up.
I've been slowly bringing heavy bags of clothes downstairs, but I need a break, so I'm paying bills. AAA sent me a renewal notice, but when I went to renew, it said that my account was current. Okay, whatever.
I think that I'll go to bed early and get up early.
