Gardening and Mom's Funeral Mass
It's raining out, so I messaged the TaskRabbit guy and asked him if he wanted to postpone until next week.
I'm feeling kind of tired. I think that I want to go back to bed. Mom has lots of yard waste bags, so I think that I will. Mimi barfed on a rug, so I'll need to get some carpet cleaner today.
Italian went well, although I've forgotten a lot. I wish that I had my Italian books with me. I might get another set. I did.
The TaskRabbit guy said that he would be here around 4 because he has to take his uncle to get his car fixed. He said that he'd get started and finish another day. So I need to stay up. I guess that I'll put the filing cabinet together and work on the kitchen table. I wound up working on choices for Mom's Funeral Mass. I think that I have something that's okay. It's not my area of expertise. I also worked on the kitchen table.
The TaskRabbit guy came and has been working industriously for hours. The yard is looking a lot better. He filled up most of the waste bags!
I talked to Mom's priest friend Bob. He said that he would contact the priest at Mom's church tomorrow. I'll contact them after that. Bob thought that the readings that I chose were "perfect," and he suggested two hymns in addition to the two that I chose.
Tried to nap but couldn't sleep.
I'm still feeling tired though. (I don't know why; the gardener was doing all the work. Maybe it was the decisions about the Mass and about the papers on the table.) I'm going to put clothes in the laundry after eating something and go to bed and get up early. I have a meeting with Mom's finance people in the morning.
