Yes, I'm Alive
Wednesday
Zara vanished last night. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to find her this morning, but she was in my bedroom this morning. She's not telling where she was.
I got the girls in their carriers with a little drama. Zara hissed and Mimi tried to run for it. And Mimi sprouted extra legs when I was putting her in the carrier. Zara's trying to get the carrier open.
Dropped the girls off. I started to drive off without my glasses, but I keep a spare set in my purse. Sheesh.
Someone wants the treadmill (and a whole bunch of people want the dryer). Things are looking up.
I called Zara's meds in so that I won't have to pick them up right away after the move.
I'm done with the storage space. Now I'm going to have a slice of pizza and go get Zara's meds. Oh, and I know why I thought that Zara got out a while ago. There's a gray cat who looks a lot like her nearby, only chubbier.
The pharmacy is still working on Zara's meds, so I'll stay here. Oops, just remembered that I need to pick up my meds at Walgreens, so I'll go do that. Maybe they'll have some frozen food there too for me to eat tomorrow. Yep, got sliders. And Zara's meds were ready right after I left, but they're closed now. Bah.
I found the glasses that vanished a few months ago. They were hanging from my keyboard tray on my desk. The only way that I would have found them is by closing up the desk like I just did. Mystery solved.
Thursday
The movers want me to clean the place up and they're coming back on Saturday. They're worried about tracking cat litter into the truck. Sigh. It'll help though.
I ran to Walmart to get more cleaning supplies and picked up Zara's meds. Then I dozed during the afternoon. Got up at 6, ate dinner, and did some laundry. I'm waiting for my nighttime meds to kick in, and I'll go back to sleep. I decided that I need new scrub brushes, so I'll run to Walmart when I get up.
Talked to Mom and told her what's going on. She said that when I come to see her, I'll have a lot to do, but I figured that. She also said that she got an estimate to fix the back stairs, but it was $2000 - $3000, which was more than she wanted to spend.
I slept okay but woke up periodically.
Friday
Went and got the scrub brushes. I'm going to do dishes, change my clothes, and get scrubbing. There was a lot of cat litter in the bedroom. And I had thought that I cleaned it previously! I'm bleaching the floor to get rid of the litter smell.
I asked for an extra day to prepare for the move. They gave me two. They're going to do the whole move on Monday (loading and unloading).
Two rooms done and started on a third.
I'm wearing out, probably because I got up at 6 this morning, so I'm going to go to bed and get up early.
