Family Reunion

My aunt's nephew (on my uncle's side of the family) had a family reunion at the house. There were tons of people here and I was feeling a little overwhelmed again. I'm sorry I'm just catching up. You've got a lot on your plate right now.

A reunion would be too much for me if I were in town for a funeral. Good for the coworking place.

I have found that, when someone dies, people want to say nice things. They forget the negatives. That's how it was with my sister. I know enough to either not say anything, or just nod and agree and move on.

How long will you be in Chicago? And how is your mother doing?

I'll be leaving Chicago on Sunday night. I'm planning to come back the week after next.

My mother is doing surprisingly well with my aunt's death. However, she is barely walking, which concerns me a great deal.

I'm sorry about your mother. Mine has gotten weaker as time goes on and now can't even stand without help. It frustrates and depresses her. I'm glad you are there for your mom.
