My aunt's nephew (on my uncle's side of the family) had a family reunion at the house. There were tons of people here and I was feeling a little overwhelmed again. I did have homework to do to catch up on my classes, so I spent much of the afternoon working on it, much to the chagrin of the people at the reunion. I did have dinner with them.

A reunion would be too much for me if I were in town for a funeral. Good for the coworking place.
I have found that, when someone dies, people want to say nice things. They forget the negatives. That's how it was with my sister. I know enough to either not say anything, or just nod and agree and move on.
How long will you be in Chicago? And how is your mother doing?

My mother is doing surprisingly well with my aunt's death. However, she is barely walking, which concerns me a great deal.
