I woke up a little before it was time to get to work, so I skipped my shower. I did the same thing yesterday, so I'll be a scuzz queen. I'll shower after work.
Zara was drinking from her water bowl, I was glad to see. Apparently, the bowl was what she wanted. Mimi likes drinking from the little water bowl, so I put that in the kitchen near the fountain. Change bowls and dance.
I checked out Brandi Carlile's biography. (I finished the one about the Burtons.) I love biographies.
The complex took away the big dumpster that people were dumping furniture in. So I'll have to hire someone to take away the futon. But awesome sauce, we get paid three times this month, so I'll take it out of the next paycheck.
I had a lock screen on my phone that had my email address on it in case I lost the phone, but it eats up a ton of battery time, so I turned it off. I have a label maker, so I'll put labels on the back of my phone. I need batteries for the label maker, so I'll get some from Walgreens when I DoorDash diet root beer. I feel like I'm living high on the hog right now :)
I've registered for my fall classes!
I need to work on my Social Anxiety class, so I'll keep my work computer on for a while. Maybe I'll do that while I'm waiting for the DoorDash.
My colleague texted me the following picture and I LOL'ed:
We got into a long conversation about our cats, past and present.
A weird thing happened with my DoorDash. I ordered AAA batteries, but he picked up AA. He said that it was AA on his end. I told DoorDash about it, and they gave me a credit for the cost of the batteries. So I ordered some from Amazon.
Grabbed Walmart reusable bags and got the mail, which I haven't gotten for a few days. Sheesh, I get winded easily. (It's a bit of a walk to the mailboxes, and I had a cat food package as one of the items.)
No, my cell phone battery is draining even without the lock screen. I don't know what's going on. It just started a day or two ago. No, bluetooth isn't on.
I started to look at phones in case this one is dying, but I want to switch to Google Fi, but this phone isn't paid off. Anyway, Pixel or Samsung? Any recommendations? I checked, and it would cost $200 to pay off my device. Though I can upgrade, and they have a deal where I could get a Pixel for $2.00 a month for 36 months. Hmm. I can also get a Galaxy A13 for $2.00 a month, but I'm leaning towards the Pixel because of the great pictures that it takes.
I did my Social Anxiety lesson. This time, I took the same test that I took to begin with, and wound up with moderate social anxiety this time. I learned that some of what I think of as social anxiety really is a social skills deficit. I don't know how to join group conversations or start a conversation. I'm lousy at small talk. I need to look for resources. Okay, I bought some Kindle books.
