I received a bill for a "Cataract Surgery Kit". I don't have cataracts and haven't been to a doctor for any. I called the optician and they took the charge off, but they have weird billing errors all the time. That's another reason to use Zenni (and another eye doctor).

I think people screw up the coding on medical tests all the time. I once did some temp work for a medical billing service. One woman was trying to contest a bill claiming she didn't have the test that was on her bill. I showed it to the woman who does the coding and she wouldn't admit the error. She was adamant the code was for that test and therefore the woman had the test. Couldn't it have been human error and someone put a wrong number in a code?
