I checked out the train to Memphis, which would be cheaper than driving. The question is whether I could use long-term parking at the station in Champaign. The train leaves Champaign at 10:30 PM and gets in at 6:30 AM, which would be rough. And I probably couldn't get a hotel room until the afternoon. If I want to spend $220, I could get a roomette

That's too bad that you can't find a more convenient train to Memphis. It's too bad that hotel check-in times are so late.

I'm hoping that I could store my luggage at the train station. I need to call them before I book a trip.
