Wow. The printer was delivered. That was fast. I ordered it on Wednesday!
Zara came in, jumped on my shoulders, jumped on my computer, and left. The joys of working from home....
The Shepherd's Pie was delicious. I need to keep an eye out for it at Aldi.
I've got the new printer set up. I really like it. It has a cheery light near the paper drawer when it's turned on. I haven't tried the duplexing feature yet though.
I read an interesting article, "
Can Workers Climb the Career Ladder From Outside the Office?". They can at our place. My new boss to be and my current boss are remote. I have never met my current boss in person. (Well, I might have met her years ago, but not since I started this job.)
Oops. I threw the styrofoam that came with the printer into its box, and Zara came flying out. I should have figured that she would be in the box. I threw out the styrofoam but kept the box for her. I gave the girls flea meds so I'm persona non grata. They'll be even more unhappy when I take them to the vet tomorrow.
I hung up the map of Germany, except one corner is refusing to stick. Interesting. Things are not where I expect them to be (although I had the same experience when I put up the map of Italy).
I think that I'll start doing my nightly routine (dishes, cats' water and dry food, scoop litter boxes, put out clothes) because tomorrow I'll be wrangling cats.
