Exhausted
I found a used stair stepper on sale for $25 on Facebook Marketplace. Hmm. Need to see where I could put it. The TV room would be the best so that I could watch TV using it. I think that I've found a spot. Oh crap, it was sold.
Woke up briefly at 8, which is good for getting up for work, and slept in until 11:30.
Zara is fed and is snuggling into my arm. But I haven't eaten yet!
I was looking at a list of Thich Nhat Hanh's books, which led me to a Tibetan Buddhist book on conversation. It was cheap for the Kindle, so I got it.
Threw myself together. Started laundry. Now I have an awkward block of time until I go pick up my grocery order at Walmart.
Picked up my order. It had everything I asked for. Came home and had some crackers with hummus.
Mom is very unhappy. The latest is that she will get three rounds of chemo, and she will lose her hair. The port is being installed next week. The first round of chemo is the following week. I guess then we'll know more about how well she'll tolerate it.
I'm feeling exhausted. Maybe it's a reaction to Mom's news? So I think that I'll just do the dishes and get to bed early, and get up early to study Italian.
