Not only does Zara have a different spot every week or so, but she has a different eating spot too, and she trains me where to feed her. This home is not-so-secretly run by cats.
Italian was hard. Even the other student, who lived in Italy for a year and speaks Italian well, was confused by prepositions. I also discovered that I need to review verbs.
Noom is changing my eating habits. I wanted bread because we were talking about it in Italian, but I had a celery stick and some hummus instead. But I did have one cookie.
Had a nice nap and a bite to eat. Then I practiced a little before my voice lesson. Voice went well. My teacher is really great. I also pull out more of the stops when I know someone else is listening.
Did some Nooming. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do next. I think homework and some laundry. Just remembered to take out the garbage for pickup (done). I'm making soup for dinner.
Oh, I have a taste for biscuits and gravy. Nope. Maybe when I go to Madison if they have biscuits and gravy in Wisconsin. I found a
place that has some. And they're open 24 hours!
The U of I is sending an email about the new semester talking about compassion and mental health. When I went there, my ex-husband's dad died suddenly in an accident. One of his professors told him that he wasn't getting over his dad's death fast enough. So I'm dubious.
I'm tired, so I'm going to go to bed early. Sleep helps you lose weight!
