Cozy
A food bank in Springfield is looking for donations, so I might send them some money in honor of my new job. People gotta eat. Actually, I might donate to one in Champaign, my home to be.
I'm waiting for Mom to send me the recipe for the Christmas cookies. Done. I ordered a flour sifter from Amazon.
I like lounging in bed after I wake up. It's nice to not have anywhere to go.
I like Walgreens. One of my prescriptions has no refills, so they automatically contacted me to ask if I want to renew the prescription. They'll contact my doctor.
Zara and Mimi still don't like each other, but they seem to be coexisting a bit better. I had both of them on me yesterday. I told them that it was getting a bit crowded.
Hmm. The forecasters are predicting rain today and Tuesday and Wednesday. Somewhere along the line, I need to clean up the outdoor plants.
My uncle is in the hospital again. His blood pressure is dropping, and he's having some bleeding.
Napped only for an hour then woke up. Talked to Mom briefly for a Christmas present consultation. Ate.
Hmm. I was going to throw out boxes, but I'll wait until I get the Christmas presents shipped.
It looks like Walmart has the baking supplies that I need. Awesome. I'll throw myself together and go. Though if I went tomorrow, I could pick up my prescription too. And go to the thrift store. I think that I'll stay home tonight and do some wrapping, mending, and decluttering.
Got the garbage out for pickup. Put a frozen pizza in the oven.
I'm enjoying being cozy wearing jeans and a sweater. And enjoying moving more slowly. I needed this break. Watched two episodes of The Crown. Poor Princess Diana. Zara was hanging out on my knee.
Someone local on Facebook is looking for new towels, and I'm wondering if I should get them for her. I should stop wondering yes or no and just do it. I'm not feeling decisive tonight.
