Summary: a fic that runs concurrent (in places) to my fic "Days in Avalon". Prowl went out of his was to help the sparkling they had rescued from ruined Iacon, only to find out they were family. now he and Jazz are trying to raise Bluestreak the best they can in the middle of a civil war.
author's notes 08.08.09: this is the fic that took over the Avalon AU. it turned into a monster without me realizing what was going on, and i was in over my head before i knew what had happened. but i love this story. it brushes on a lot of real life issues--things everyone has experienced and things that i hope no one ever does (though i know that some people have). "Days in Avalon" may have created this AU, but "Deeper Than Family" is definately the crown jewel piece. for now, at least. ^_^
again, bring some tissues. (probably the whole damn shipping case, because one box may not be enough) and be prepared for a very long read. i doubt you'll make it in one sitting.
