Hey everyone! I got into Florence today (after a whole 24 hours that it took to get here)... So my stopover in Munich was amusing. I also decided that I don't really hate planes that much anymore. In fact, they fascinate me. I only got scared since I know too much about how they work. Either way... but I found this out after a mother on our flight decided she wanted me to convince her little daughter that flying is fun and safe and nothing would happen.
So far I've seen Michaelangelo's David (which just re-opened), Giotto's Belltower, The plaza at St. Marks, and I'm on my way to see the Baptistry and Dante's House. I have a bunch of pictures that I can't exactly upload right now, but i promise to upload them soon.
I left a message on aim thinking it would be up all week... highly doubtful, lol but I have aim on my phone at all times... send me pretty messages. I miss everyone already. ...but seriously... the more messages the better, otherwise its me, my mind, and I left to my own devices... and that's not good considering my bad attention span, attention to details, and general confusion right now.
My mother pointed out that this is officially the first overseas trip I've had where I'm unattached... it feels so weird not buying for someone... especially in such a romantic country. ...also a shame the Italian boys here are too skeezy. (note: ciao and bella are two words I never want to hear again together... lol it's like saying 'ello poppet! in that creepy voice.)
So tomorrow I finish up Florence and then I take a train to Milan... I'll try my best to update tomorrow... hopefully some of this message will be readable... stupid foreign keyboards...
