Good Friday
The first cake is out of the oven. It smells amazing. It's a hummingbird cake with pineapple and banana and pecans. I haven't quite decided if I am going to do Easter cupcakes this year. They would be for the neighbors. Maybe I'll skip it.
The trip to the dentist did not go well. I spend an hour and a half, painfully in the chair. Bad gum disease. I will beat it. Two crowns and a cavity. It is not fun to have old teeth.
I do not see making it to the gym today. Suzie has too many plans and is too bored. I'll do it tomorrow before we head to Lansing. Maybe I can convince her to walk the path in the swamp tonight. A good mile would be better than nothing. I think I'll take her down to SOmerset this afternoon for her Easter present. I may get another block done too.
