I wanted the fanmix to be starting from Snape and Lily's childhood together and gradually growing more dissodant and painful as the mix went on and Lily and Severus grow apart due to the intrusion of James' on their relationship and Snape being sucked into the Dark Arts. The mix ultimately ends in the death of Lily Evans, 'The End', a stark contrast from the bright beginnings of 'seeing her face'.
