Well, I am back in Georgia. I left on a jetplane January 7th.. and after 4 and a half hours on that jetplane, I collected my baggage and Mary was at the airport to pick me up. How crrrazy it was to be back. When I went back home, it felt like the whole SCAD thing, the whole new friends thing, the whole southern life thing had all been a dream. Going back reminded me that it is completely real. As ridiculous as that sounds. Anyhows. The first few days back were steadily hot/humid/drippy/sunny. Lately though, I've been wearing my winter coat everyday. Clouds/rain/wind is normal. But I have no room to complain, if I were to be in New York I would also be wearing long johns, spandex, jeans, snowpants, a turtleneck, maybe a V-neck sweater, a scarf,a starter jacket, mittens, and earmuffs.
I'm taking 3-D design, Art History I, aand Color Theory (basically mixing paint together). Everything is okay, except I really suck at building and glueing wooden structures and bending and cutting wires for 3-D. I superglued my hands/fingers together recently. Mary's response, "Do you want me to get scissors?!" laugh out loud.!!. Oh well. I'm alive. As for fun, I've been watching a lot of movies. Such as The Puffy Chair, Punch Drunk Love, THE SECRET, Blow, and Junebug. Going to Denny's around 2AM is always a popular pastime, as well as making a campfire in a forest on Tybee Island. Tonight we went out for Italian food at Cosentino's, and I can bet that I consumed the greatest Alfredo Ziti Chicken evar to be cooked.=)No liver destroying for us yet. ;; But, I think I am really really going to try hard to learn to play the acoustic guitar while I'm here. I'm determined as a mouse in a maze. Tomorrow morning there is an animation meeting for those interested in... animation. Therefore I am invited. But I be nervous because animation kids freak me out. (animal-eared hat wearers, dragonball-z fans, bad anime fans, awkward conversation havers) >.<
I'm looking extremely wildly forward to coming home for the weekend on Feb. 8th. A lil break, a lil time with those I love... should spruce up my spirits. I miss everyone and everything. Even the snow. And beerpong.
