went to hachi's right after school, then realized i forgot my passport and had to get that.
we left at 4 and got to bellingham at about 5. drove around looking for the place,
except evan was like 'maple street!' and then '..west chestnut!' so we couldn't find it
and then eventually did. it was called 'the old foundry' and it said 'everything grows'
on the sign, so debbie and i thought it was a plant store or something. so we found it
then went back to bellisfair for mcd's. bought a bunch of food and tried not to lol
at the flaming guy who served us. so we got back to the old foundry, and sat out
in the cold eating our mcdick's.

a few minutes later daniel came out and started setting up his guitar crap. we were
almost pissing, and then michael came out and hachi and i died. we watched them
through this huge window, because the front of the building was literally a garage door.
they did their soundcheck, so we got to hear in record shape manymany times and i just
couldn't get over how great the show was going to be. michael said hi to us through the
window - it was us and three other kids who get there a little after we did. then michael
and daniel went off for a couple of hours and doors opened. the opening band, oberus,
was weird but not terrible. we all just wanted idiot pilot though!

finally at 9:30ish idiot pilot came on. and it was fucking amaaaazing. words cannot
even describe how great they are live - michael's voice and all.. everytime one of our
favourite songs came next we just grinned madly at each other. it was just..wow.
they played every song that we absolutely love, and arrhythmia which was totally random
but really friggen cool. and they played wolves, which made hachi die inside. it was
one of the best ones they performed. they finished with 'tbag' and michael climbed up
a wall and onto the rafters. he had thrown the mic over them so he grabbed it and finished
the song from up on the roof. it was fucking sweet; i was excited for him to climb something.

i loved their little talks between songs. they seemed really laid-back, and daniel was
all: 'why aren't you guys at home watching lost?!' and such. they called taste of chaos
"taste of gayass" which was hilarious. apparently it sucked 'coz of the lamecore crowds
and they even got spit on in chicago. HOW could anyone spit on michael, for srs. bastards.
aaanyway, their conversations were great. at the end of the show i caught ryan's drumstick
and got him to sign it, kyaa. we ended up talking to daniel first, and i asked him who
his favourite lost characters were. he said desmond and ben, haha. we told them to come
play in abbotsford, and talked about random stuff. then we talked to ryan for a while, and
he was actually really cool. finally we talked to michael, and evan and i were just
internally freaking out, but he managed to make decent conversation. i had no idea what
to say! but i was so freaking happy because daniel and michael both recognized us from
the spill canvas tour. we got more piccus and stayed for a bit longer, but they were both
really tired and such so we left and once we got outside, i pretty much exploded.

we left bellingham at just after eleven and went for more mcd's because we really wanted
cinnamelts. they were hella yummy but the drive-thru people were bitches, bahaha.
got home just after midnight and was too excited to sleep, so i was up till about two
and then woke up the next morning for school. but i wasn't even tired because i still had
some left-over excitement, hehe. such an amazing night, i honestly can't believe it!
