Where was the last place you slept other than your bed?
The futon in the basement at Bob and Jeef's house. It had to have been 55oF down there, it was absolutely freezing! I had to go get my sleeping bag and basically camp out. I was very tempted to start a small bonfire in the middle of the basement, but reason actually won that argument. From now on I will be more careful when I go over there, and actually bring everything I'm going to need to stay warm. It's weird to think you need to break out your camping supplies to hang out a friends house.
What is your favorite drink (alcoholic if you drink and whatever else if you don't)?
Hmm... I guess Cherry Coke would be my number one answer. Followed by coffee and some excellent teas. Since I can hardly drink anything alcoholic anymore I can't give you more than one, my weakness for Long Island.
What kind of books do you read?
I love Science fiction books. Anything with a well developed storyline that gets my mind going is a weakness. With my seemingly frantic life style as of late, I find myself attracted to more non-fiction books, news articles, magazines, and of course comics.
What are you reading right now?
'The Art of Happiness in a Troubled World' - his Holiness the Dalai Lama and Howard C. Cutler, MD
If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?
Sleeping quietly with someone who loves me.
When was the last time you were out of town?
Two weeks ago. There was a girl named Hailey and we went out to dinner. It sucked. I will never date anyone that psycho ever! It's a good thing she doesn't know where I live or I'd be worried about my safety.
Name one odd item within five feet of you.
Casio CTK-491 Keyboard/Piano - I love this little keyboard. I've been really trying to take 40 minutes a day and practice on it. So far I've managed 20 minutes a day, but I do go over sometimes. I'm pretty horrible at the piano as I am a beginner. Still it's something I want to keep working at when I have the time. Playing music is relaxing to me, not stressful.
What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Two things jump out at me. I've been re-watching a lot of my favorite anime recently. Orphen, Outlaw Star, Boys over flowers (live action), GTO. I've also been re-watching some TV shows that are awesome, like Firefly, Star Trek the Next Generation and House. Also I've been really talking a lot of the phone.
Were you an honor roll student in school?
No. That way by choice. I thought the idea of doing homework wasn't in my best interest in terms of preparing me for the 21st century. I thought it was way to industrialized nation type thinking. So I never did homework and just got A's on the tests and projects. It usually meant I got a C in the class.
What are you most excited for this year?
I guess I'm really excited for going to Katsucon. It's been a long time since I just went someplace by myself, single. I think that trip could be epic. Me alone in D.C. with hords of anime fans. Spike and Kari trying to constantly hook me up with girls. ^_^ Oh yes, this could be fun.
Why is your favorite color your favorite?
My favorite color is Royal Purple. It always speaks of passion, leadership, and justice. It has always seemed to me to be a noble color. It's both calming and exciting. I dunno it's a good color. Close second is Forest Green. I love forest green. Fortunately both these colors look really good on me. ^_^
What does your last text message say?
"Apparently after I leave, Roxas sits by the door for awhile. I go anywhere in their apt he tends to follow me. Sarah thinks he knows he is going home with me."
What's your biggest procrastination method?
Facebook, Final Fantasy and reading reddit.com
Are there any bits of childhood that you miss?
Copious amounts of free time. The innocence of not worrying about money. The standard education that you don't have to pay for.
Spring, summer, autumn, or winter?
Fall. Its a season with little similarities to the others. The trees change colors, the air smells unique, the leaves on the ground crunch. The climate is temperate. Halloween. In a close second is Spring. After all I was born on the first day of spring. Spring has some of the things that I love about fall, but what is really nice about spring is the rebirth of life. Something is very special about that.
