I thought that was both remarkable, but also very, very kind and respectful, something I (think I see) in the graphic novel.
I saw it there too, and it was one of my favorite things about the graphic novel. Even though Moore didn't flinch at pointing out the parts of him that were hypocritical, brutal, or just plain nutty, there seemed like an underlying sense of respect for him as a human being and an understanding for why he carved out his life the way he did. I'm really glad to hear you say I did something along the same lines.

Oh yes, I agree completely. There might be some rare exceptions, but I think no one really wants to be the bad guy. Usually it seems like those kinds of harmful views spring up when people feel terrified of themselves or the world, and while it may not justify their actions, it's a reason.
