first off, let me say that last night i tried to write some pretty little sentences that sounded nice when placed next to each other and subsequently discovered that i was rubbish at it. so i stopped.
on friday 3rd january i have an interview for an internship downtown at an auction house that is owned by sotheby's. [insert excitement here.]
first week of march i am going back to new york again with my sister and my cousin. we're going to shoe shop and generally act like spoiled fools, which we very well may be.
tonight we had a girls' night at scheck's house. this involved eating assorted bread-based horderves, drinking mad amounts of wine, then dipping various edibles into melted chocolate whilst watching johnny depp. needless to say it was lovely.
tomorrow i'm cooking for the whole family. have invited sister and brotherinlaw as well. am not rubbish at cooking.
menu:
grilled/marinated portobello and red pepper salsa on toast with melted goat cheese.
butternut squash soup.
soy-sauce glazed salmon burgers with lime-ginger aioli and sweet potato french fries.
