hahha. what is it about duct tape wallets -- the cheapest of the cheap wallets -- getting replaced with amazing designer ones? a few years ago i was in japan and my very generous uncle, who gave me a baby-g watch a couple years earlier, was like, "how's your wallet, elissa?" "it's fine.. i made it myself. i like it." (we are driving to a store.) "okay, well.. i'll get you a new one." "no no, i really like mine. it's made out of duct tape, see, and i made pockets for it and everything. and i put this cute picture on the front and covered it with clear tape so it's like it's laminated!" (we get to the store.) "pick out one of these and i will buy it for you, and if you don't pick one out i will do it for you." (displays of prada, gucci, louis vuitton, chanel..) "uhhhh."

so i have a black prada wallet that cost more than any amount of cash i will ever put inside of it. claaazzzyy.

WELL, not to hate on Tarjay because it is my lover and we are going to get married someday, but I actually did by myself a wallet that looks a lot like this from there about a month ago... and it fell apart in under a week. NO LIE. SO. Let's just say I would have never purchased this if it wasn't $100 cheaper than listed? Yeah. I am fully aware that I'm basically paying for that little charm; I'm okay with it.

2. Fashionista question. What are American Eagle jeans sizes like? Are they funky like Gap? ie. normally need size 6, but size 4 Gap is baggy and size 2 is skinny/tight? Or is it more true to size. Most of my jeans are between 26 and 28. Can you help me? Hmm? Because cute cheap jeans from the US are my friend.

2) Indeed, AE sizes are somewhat funky! I'm a 26 waist, yet at AE I always end up in 2 longs: 2 for the waistband, long inseam to account for the fact that I'm way taller than their ideal 2. SO yeah, they tend to run a bit big (ego boost, I suppose) but they're well-made.

3) Yes, rec away! Between downloading and Netflix, I should be able to get my hands on them.
