I will do anything to avoid work, even if said work does involve sonnets by Shakespeare.

Here are my icons. Comment with the following:

1. One that makes you automatically think of me.
2. One that you think I should TOTALLY use more often.
3. One that you don't get/needs more explanation/you have no idea why the hell I have it. (My note: That can include keywords/descriptions. My description are ultra-wacky, I realize this.)
4. Comment using an icon of yours that you love, and tell me why you picked that one, too.

Other things:
  • Can someone explain why images on the montiors in the computer lab are 1736746283x sharper than on my laptop? Is this another strike against poor little Etienne? *covets sharpness*
  • My Poetry teacher wants to use my half-assed close reading of a Thomas Wyatt poem as an example of a keen close reading, to be given out to students next semester. Um, uh, okaysureomgwow.
  • The people behind me are talking about Myspace. HEEGEEKINESS.
  • I got ane email from the person with whom I'm interviewing for the internship-- apparently, I can bring writing samples if I so choose, but, and I quote, "even if they are coursework." Which certainly implies that fiction is allowed, right? Given that I have, um, no original fiction to show (I KNOW, I SUCK SO MUCH), should I rewrite fic? omg I want to show that I am not simply academic-writing-capable.

memes are very shiny, making a list
