Bad wolf!

So, yeah, Doctor Who. I am so in love. *hugs familyarchives again*

I have such a weakness for time travel, and shows about time travel, and shows that revist their various timelines (omg!). And "bad wolf," oh my god, I finally get it. About ten minutes after I finished the last episode, my mind was still doing cartwheels of glee that ( omg! )

I only caught snippets of the latest season but there's a brilliant summary of all of them here at crack_van. If that helps.

Oh, man. That was a lot of information to wrap my brain around. Thanks!

On the other hand, it's such a good, tiny idea.

Heeeee, I knew you had fic in you. :D

(BTW, did you know Russell T. Davies worked on the original 'Touching Evil' -- I kinda want to see it now. :x )

Also...LOVE the icon. :)

Man, I want to see the new Doctor Who. BBC America sucks. They can show Changing Spaces 4,700 times a day, but they can't air Doctor Who? What's up with that?

Dude, I was totally absorbed by the idea that the TARDIS made the Doctor go back because when Rose took the time vortex into herself, she took it into herself for her entire timeline thus connecting her from her conception to death to the TARDIS.

Gwyneth saw the Bad Wolf/TARDIS in Rose back in Unquiet Dead, so she's been connected to the TARDIS from like... day one. And it's such at interesting idea that one of the reasons the Doctor originally bonded so incredibly quickly with Rose was that he subconsiously picked up on the potential for the time feed inside her.

Plus, y'know, they're complimentary mental dorks.

And on a random note, my room smells suspiciously of pot. *annoyed as it's giving me a headache and I didn't even smoke it*

See, now I feel compelled to watch the entire season again to pick up on all the little Bad Wolf hints that I missed or dismissed as something entirely different, not to mention the tiny connections between the universes.

(OH MAN.)

I'm slowly rewatching the whole series again. It's amazing how sleep deprivation changes your perception of things going on. ::watched the whole thing in a 20 hour go, with an interrupt for about 8 hours worth of sleep::

Seriously though. Bad Wolf was EVERYWHERE OMG. And I love the idea that Rose is now tied in with the TARDIS for all time, like it or not. !!! ::loves the TARDIS::

(I KNOW! I called the landlord and bitched.)

The epguides.com for the show is really good at keeping track of all the references -- there's even one in the first episode, omg! Here's the interesting question, though: logically speaking, do the Bad Wold references really EXIST before Rose has the time vortex in her? I mean, yes, they exist in the past, present, future, blah blah, but are they always there or a self-fulfilling prophecy? Does that make sense AT ALL?

Hah. Fandom marathon weekends are awesome, but not always so good for remembering minor plot details. Sort of like when I watched the middle episodes of BSG S1 and didn't remember having seen them the first time (it was all a blur until the last four).
