The things that I did instead of that other thing that I really should have been doing.

"ELIZABETH LISTENS TO YOU." Hah. Hahahahaha.

There needs to be a scene with just Caldwell and someone else, discussing Elizabeth and Sheppard. 'Cause, you know, like, that would be interesting and stuff. He has to think something is up.

"I don't think it matters how much cake you walk on." I LOVE UNTRANSLATABLE IDIOMS.

BSG:

*DIES. OF. SQUEE*

Okay, so here's the thing: I am SO GLAD that permissionslip is evil and forced convinced me to download The Kissing Clip (I can say it now! EEE!) a couple days ago, so I could get over my disappointment that it was not, in fact, full on making out and things of that nature. NOT THAT THIS WAS DISAPPOINTING OR ANYTHING. In fact, Issues are a million times better than Porn. (But, um, don't quote me on that one, okay?)

He was so happy to see her that he accidentally kisses her in the front of the President. And then he's so into supporting her he accidentally tells her that he loves her. There are No. Words. to describe my love. NO WORDS.

I absolutely loved how the scene starts out with their emotional defenses both on high alert - in other words, the immature stealing-the-other's-toy behavior - and quickly changes into an adult interaction. There is such a shift between them when they're both just sitting there, leaning against the chain-link fence. (Quick note: wtf, a chainlink fence?) And the fact that she doesn't tell him about her ovaries and the baby farms? I really don't think it's because she doesn't want to tell Lee specifically, I think it's that she still doesn't feel well enough to tell anyone who wasn't there.

And then the part where she calls him out on the fact that he uses The L Word. Oh, man. I was upset when I thought she was going to let that slide, but ohhhh. Oh, man. You think, after KLG, that there's no way any of these people will ever be able to stand in the same room together without something large breaking over someone else's head, and then you get THIS, and it all makes perfect sense.

Adama said he was going to put the family back together. *GLEE!*

I'm glad that, at least from this distance, it doesn't feel like the writers are simply pressing the reset button and bringing the gang back to where they were at the end of "Colonial Day." Because if Adama can forgive Tigh for all the crap he's pulled in the past and during his brief command of Galactica, then there is your foundation.

(HAH! I remember looking at the promo pics wondering how that Zarek!friend guest star was and why he looked so much like Richard from Sex and the City... and then it actually IS Richard. BSG/Sex and the City crossover!!)

(YES, I SAW THE ROSLIN/ADAMA CLIP IN THE PROMO. OMG.)
