Well, there was wine (sangria) in a box, although I think I only talked about showtunes for a majority of the night. Also, you know what is the bestest in the world omg? Strawberry Stoli. I shit you not.
While we're on the topic of completely embarrassing me, I should share this photo, if only because I'm against a background of Total And Complete Fannish Obsession. Just... don't make fun of what I'm wearing. I was having a severe Carrie moment yesterday.

1. Searching around the UO site last night, it hit me again... I'M SO GONNA HAVE AN APARTMENT TO DECORATE NEXT YEAR! Also, I bought this necklace.
2. The quality is still severely lacking (omg must get new digital camera STAT), but the photos of The Gates still came out much better than I expected. We're getting #17 as a print, so... that makes me kind of giggly.
3. mylittleredgirl is sending me a book!! THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA!!!! *bounce*
4. I completely forgot I changed my NYT email subscriptions to also send me the weekly Style section. *loves* I wanted to find you a link to the interactive review of the Fall 2005 collections in Milan, because it TALKS TO YOU and SHOWS YOU PICTURES, but since it's a pop-up... this will have to do (it's the first feature on the right hand side, under "Multimedia"). Finally, I'm not a huge Gucci girl myself, but HOT DAMN are this season's ads hot OR WHAT. Is there a high res fashion scans comm on lj? Like all those daily celeb ones? I would die a happy, happy (poor) fashionista if there was. (btw? permissionslip and I are sooo going to Fashion Week next year.)

did well:
1. Organized my "study group" - we're meeting tomorrow afternoon, a full FOUR DAYS before the actual exam. This is a studying RECORD for me. Actually, in my earlier panic attack, I think may have misrepresented the situation. The fact is, Prof. Schochet has been meeting with this girl after class all the time, because she's struggling with the class. He says, "Go talk to Tahlia. She's very smart and capable and if there's anyone who can make you understand this stuff, it's here." *cue my ego* So she finally does come talk to me, and in the process of me telling her that I would be more than willing to help her... a bunch of other people standing around me start going "oh, hey, can I get in on that, too?" Which, to be honest, I thought was kind of rude of them, and not ONLY because I in no way was offering my help as a makeshift study group at the time. It doesn't help that Schochet's standing there the entire time, reminding Rula (the girl who originally approached) how smart am I, 'cause I was so glowy and happy that I couldn't exactly say no to these people. Ehhhhhhhh. They're all very capable and smart and DON'T need a study group. And, just, don't get me started on how the class REALLY isn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be, and no, that's not just because I've had him before. GUYS. I UNDERSTAND IT. CAN'T BE TOO DIFFICULT.
2. Ate an actual, full, filling dinner yesterday. God bless The Rutgers Club and them having STEAK OMG.
3. Went to see Kate in Once Upon a Mattress. HUZZAH MUSICALS.

1. Overhaul my icons. Seriously.
2. I don't know... study? Maybe? I do have two exams next week...
