So,
SAG noms. I'm a sucker for award shows? I'm mostly in it for the dresses.
Ensemble in a Comedy Series: I'm the only person in America who watched Desperate Housewives and didn't like it, right? It seems like that sometimes. (I blame it on Mr. Lyle.) GO ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, WOOOOO HOOOOOOO!
Ensemble in a Drama Series: Wow, it's... the exact same five shows that it's been for years now. And, wow... I DON'T CARE ABOUT A SINGLE ONE. Then again, maybe if networks would stop sticking their heads up their asses with the reality programming and actually put on a handful of GOOD new dramas, we wouldn't be stuck with the same old, same old.
Male Actor in a Drama Series: ANTHONY LAPAGLIA HUZZAH. SAG voters prove they can subtle. ;) And, I mean, I heart Jerry Orbach, but, please, don't give it to him suddenly just because he up and died. That's just... wrong.
Female actor in a Drama Series: My heart goes to Jennifer and Allison, but it'll probably go to Drea de Matteo. *shrug* Again, I am unimpressed by all. (Actually, I am continually amused that Jennifer Garner keeps getting nominated, because Alias is so over-the-top in the acting department. But, then, that's what makes me love it? Yeah.)
Female Actor in a Comedy Series: I LOVE Carrie Bradshaw with all my heart and soul and she will forever be my fashion icon, but IT'S OVER STOP NOMINATING SARAH JESSICA AND HER SERIES. I REPEAT, IT'S OVER.
Movie Cast: I am confused why amused by the fact that after an entire year of movies, the five nominated ensembles are all currently in theaters. And that I've seen none of them.
WHY NOTHING FOR NATALIE PORTMAN? SO. WRONG. *SULKS* And why is there no award for an ensemble in a TV movie/miniseries? That seems... odd.
