OH MY GOD COCKBLOCKED BY THE UNIVERSE, AND I DON'T EVEN CARE BECAUSE THAT SCENE. THAT. SCENE. *INCOHERENT NOISES*.

Actually the whole last fifteen minutes was basically warm fuzzies and team loveliness! And insanity. And amazing.

"Get your coat, you've pulled."

ALEX DRAKE, YOU CLASSY BROAD. <3333

I believe the technical term is "Track 16'ed." JIM KEATS IS JUST ANOTHER MUTATED RETROVIRUS-CARRYING BUMBLEBEE.

Speaking of: can we have a side panel about the fact that, literally, Jim Keats scares me. I feel like I keep saying thsi every week hoping it means something different, but nope, all the acting prizes to Daniel Mays now please, because this character out and out makes me nervous and anxious and everything. The giddy way he unwrapped those video tapes - whatever they are? CHILLS. ACTUAL CHILLS.

(Also, as ahsfkasjhfa as the Herb Alpert callback was, you know the other one to that scene? "I've told you a thousand times, Bolly - Nelson Mendela is a terrorist." Um. No really, can we all have an international, booze-addled liveblog?)

All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.

SIDEBAR: JIM KEATS GODDAMN. Seriously, I don't know how Danny Mays is doing that, but I want to back a truck full of statuettes onto his lawn. Also maybe ask him to PLEASE STOP WITH THE HYSTERICAL LAUGHING, I AM GOING TO HAVE NIGHTMARES.

Chris saw the stars! That makes me happy - I wasn't liking any of the scenarios that having him be the odd man out were hinting at. And now I kind of think I have an idea of what they're going to do, and it's nowhere near as depressing as some of the interviews were implying! SO, YES, NEXT FRIDAY, CAN YOU HURRY UP, PLEASE?

Oh gosh, that bit with the three of them? LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS - OH MY. I'm thinking a rewatch of The Wizard of Oz is in my near future. Because, you know, it's not like I watched so many times as a kid that I still - still! - have it completely 100% memorized.

In conclusion, Ben Linus and Jim Keats in a room together. Come on, you know you'd pay to see that and/or pretend to see that but secretly HIDE BEHIND A PILLOW.

I was convinced they would actually go for it, and not do the TV Thing where someone knocked on the door. Because I expected that, and I thought that would be thwarted but whatever, I don't care that much because LOOK ABOVE AT THE CAPS.

BRB, busy concocting specialty cocktail for this moment.

Alex and Gene and good times with the couch!! YAY!!!

This show has clearly fried my brain. If anyone had told me during LoM that I would be shipping Gene Hunt with ANYONE I would never have believed them. I was so lulled by all the warm fuzzies and the family unity and then BAM! The almost resolution of what is absolutely the biggest case of UST since Mulder and Scully.

I am having severe anxiety over next week's ep. I am preparing to be in a very satisfying, yet painful state of absolute heartbreak.
