That was so amazing. I... I just don't know what else to say. It was amazing. I was crying, tears literally rolling down my face, and then I'd start laughing through the tears. This made me love them even more than I already do, which is already enough to be declared insane.

This was just amazing. There were a million parts I could quote as my favorite part... but this was my first favorite:

Sometimes they find themselves telling each other things that should have been said long ago - my dad drank, he thinks, for example, and now you know my entire life, summed up in three syllables. I've saved you from a serial killer - and you, me, - but you've never met my brother. And when you lay their lives out on an examining table - Senator's aides, skeletons in walls, old professors, ex-girlfriends, fungus, superheroes, lonely kids, bad agents, exploding refrigerators, her mom, your ex, hot sun, tiny spaces with little air, other people, her books, that boat, her dad, weddings and funerals and kissing and opening up and, and, ( ... )

(That last line of "Con Man in the Meth Lab" - my dad drank - is probably one of my favorite things in the whole show. Partially because, it wasn't about actually telling her the story of his past, because I think probably even Brennan could have figured that out, but rather letting her into that part of him IN THE FIRST PLACE. Like, I sort of imagine that there isn't actually much more to the story than that. For all the crap he knows about her, there isn't a lot he's told her about himself - the ultimate irony, since in a way that's what Brennan herself is trying to do. It's like - stuff fundamentally changes between them after that episode. I'm not hysterical; IT'S TRUE.)

(WHY DO I LOVE THESE TWO PEOPLE SO MUCH? AND WHY DO THEY LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH? Oh my God.)

oh god. that was really good.
This made me feel better about the baby storyline. Lately fics have that effect on me!

That was such a cute fic. Loved it. Little Elizabeth, BB being a family.
