Summary: It was an arranged marriage by his parents but he was the one who chose the bride that he claims he had no feelings on. Moreover, the bride is a MAN!
A/N: I made a story base on my last drabble #3, was requested by raixas / min-chan but I think she doesn’t remember it at all. XD I never write multichapters and I doubt I can write it, so this is still One-shot but I’ll make it 3/4 parts... enjoy it & don’t forget to leave me some comments.

Part One
When the morning came knocking on his windows, he knew he should face the diligent life once again. It would be exactly the same like thousands of past days, that’s what he should pay for having chosen this kind of living. This is all mum’s fault. He had nothing to do with this at first, but maybe this was more than what he’s worth when he got the glamorous life he had never imagined before. Being adored by millions of fans all over the world, captivating everyone around him, there’s nothing he could complain about. Of course he had dreams to be noticed as a playboy, flirting with sexy and beautiful ladies. But with this current situation, he could swear to the world, he not only would get a good response from the opposite sex, but also from men. He is Ueda Tatsuya, the U of KAT-TUN; no one could resist his charming aura!
But still… there’s only one man that was never spellbound by me. He sighed.
Tatsuya got up from the bed slowly; he had no reason to rush. It was still early. He took a warm delicate shower, thinking of his chaos life. Not that he likes to think of that, but there’s still the unresolved problem left, even if he had spent more than one year thinking of that. And he can sure no one could solve it for him. He dressed up as simple and comfortable as usual, drank his favorite: hot chocolate with toasted bread, enough to make his stomach full that morning. Then heads to the Jimusho, praying that today will be better than before.
KAT-TUN’s room was already filled with the owners when he arrived, except the A. He uttered the morning greets as always, landing beside Kame who was busy painting his toes.
“You do that early in the morning?? Oh man, you should change your gender soon… Kame-chan.” He wanted to say it first, but then Jin already took that line, resulting in all the band mates giggles together, including Kame. Jin then took the place beside Ueda, make him trapped between AKAME.
“You should be grateful I never ask you to do this for me…” Kame answered Jin with a smile but never changed his focus on the toe. Tatsuya changed his view to the newspaper that was being held by Jin. “Let me read with you.” He spoke and immediately gets the response needed. They read about everything that catches their eyes.
“Hey Tat-chan, look at this!” Jin pointed to the picture probably taken by paparazzi because of the lower qualities. That picture showed Nishikido Ryo, who is the member of NEWS and Kanjani 8 with Uchi Hiroki, seating together but with suspicious looks. They smiled to each other and it could also be interpreted as flirting. “Shit! Ryo-chan’s probably in big trouble!! They made it AGAIN!” Jin passed the paper to Ueda who was immediately read the papa’s report while Jin fished out his cell phone, calling his best friend that was worrying him now.
The news was saying that Nishikido Ryo and his well known best friend, Uchi Hiroki are a gay couple because they had been seen kissing each other passionately. It was last night in a VIP Club that did not mention specifically but exactly in Osaka, both of them were reported drinking and flirting with each other not caring about their surroundings. Then it was the climax when they were headed home together in the same cab. Ueda did not believe it! It was totally a bad rumor. He did not believe Nishikido would do that. May be they were drinking together, but flirting and kissing??? What the hell was that? Nishikido Ryo is NOT gay! He could cut his pinky finger for that!
“Is that true Ueda? Jin said you have a thing for me! I just wanted to hear it from you, is that for real??” Nishikido asked him on one rainy evening when there were only both of them in a dance room.
“Jin…” He could only sighed hearing that. He should know there’s no secret between those two friends, but he also could not keep that secret away from Jin when the latter could read his mind easily.
“Say something please, otherwise I’ll be ashamed for that question.” He could see the pink shades on Nishikido’s cheeks, but then he lowered his gaze to the floor.
“No need to be ashamed, Jin was telling you the truth.” Ueda answered it without looking at the other, he was the one that felt ashamed for that, but he could not deny the feeling. He is the man… who’s in love with another man. Yes! Ueda Tatsuya is in love with Nishikido Ryo.
It is unrequited love.
“Oo… so Jin’s right. I… I don’t know how to say it, but…” Ryo took several steps to get closer to the older man. Then he stopped in front of him, makes the other face him. “I love you too…” This was sure an uncomfortable moment for both of them. Ueda did not know what or how to react, he just stood still. Ryo loves him too?? But why didn’t he see the flames?
“I love you too Tatsuya, but just as a friend.” Ryo pulled him in a warm embrace and he heard the whisper in his ears after that: ‘I’m sorry Tatsuya, I am straight, which means I’m not gay…”
That was the reason and it happened more than 12 months ago.
“Ryo-chan! Where are you?? Did you read the news?? Oh god! Hey!” There was silence; Jin was listening to the other man on the line. “I know! I know! They just created that again! That reporter should be banned! What about Uchi-kun? … Yeah! Ok, I’ll pick you up later. Bye!” Fuhh! There was a released sound from Jin.
Then he look at Ueda with a big smile plastered on his face, “If Ryo-chan is a gay, I’m sure he would choose you to be his boyfriend!” Then he walked out to their manager who was calling them for a meeting, leaving all the guys in that room to choke on their breath.
“I swear dad, I’m not gay! They just created those stories to sell out their papers.” The article really pissed him off! He did not know why he was so angry like this, and did not know whom exactly the real person that make him angry was, the good for nothing reporter or his father. His father is a strict person; there was no tolerance for something like this especially when the same story repeated two or three times. Before this he was reported flirting with Tegoshi and of course the first one was said with Subaru.
“If those stories were false, then why didn’t you get yourself a wife? You don’t even have a girlfriend, my son.” The tone his father had used was really annoyed. There he goes again. When this wild gossip surfaced once in a blue moon, his father would bring up that thing again. That MARRIED thing. Of all four siblings, only he is still single, even his youngest sister had already married. It was something like a tradition for Nishikido’s family to get married early. They had been told by their great-great-grandfather that the range age for a perfect marriage is at 20 to 25 years old. What a lame idea for him.
“I told you before, I don’t have a time for that and you know I was busy. Even now I am busy, with the two groups, dramas and so other programs. Mum, help me please…” He stared at his mother trying to get an assist to avoid that quite serious discussion. But his mother was not mesmerized by that; overall she was also afraid of her husband.
“Listen here Ryo, you’re one of the Nishikido family, that means you have to follow the tradition! No matter who’s the bride, you have to get married before you turn 26! That’s final!” His father was rising up his voice just now, which made Ryo shiver a little bit. I hate this! He really doesn’t have any idea to please his father. This is getting difficult for him and for sure he’d have to obey his father rules to end all these issues. But if he agreed to get married now, his father would definitely choose a bride for him, which he has to accept. He knew they would choose the best for him but it still doesn’t make sense, right? Overall he already thought about this before, if he has to get married, he would choose someone that he is really comfortable to be with, not just a stranger that knows nothing about him. Especially who’s not from the same industry with him. Maybe I should use that weird excuse.
“What if I’m really a GAY?? Will you accept it if my BRIDE to be is a MAN??” Ryo challenged his father. He doesn’t like being rude especially to his old man, but no one would stand a situation like this if they had to face it every time their eyes met. His father was silent.
“I’ll get married any time soon if you could accept HIM!” He got daring, but seriously he never meant anything by those words. Who is this “HIM” that he mentions, he also did not know. He thought his father would stop that thing abruptly hearing this he is gay confession which was totally untrue, but he was wrong.
“So you have changed your words right now? Admitting that you are a gay??” His father was looking straight into his eyes and then smiled bitterly to him murmuring something like I knew that was the reason or of course the report was true, but it was hardly heard by him. Shit!
His father obviously had his pride. “They said you have to get married by these ages, but they did not mention about the bride’s gender…” gulp! Ryo thought he could faint any moment from that. This is crazy! He didn’t know that his father is an open minded person that could easily accept a relationship that was totally forbidden for generations before. “Err… didn’t you think that it is unaccepted or forbidden to get married with same sex??” He was trying to change his father’s view on that matter but only received a death glare from his mother. Yeah... now he knows that his mother could shoot him with the same glared like his Hime. Hime? Gulp!
“Let me know who that person is? Your mother and I will arrange everything for you; we will consult with HIS parents.” Nishikido-san said it with an unwavering tone, clearly heard by his beloved son that was flushed like a red tomato. “Who is HE my son?” His father asked again with jagged eyes. I’m so dead. Ryo mind totally went blank.
“It’s Ueda, dad! I want Ueda Tatsuya to be my bride!” and the name owner choked once again. This is totally crazy!
