I've got a new poison: bourbon and coke...a big thank you goes out to Clara. :-P And also to Kristina for going out with us and putting up with our craziness.
I am writing a paper for my study of american independent cinema class, and of course I chose to write about a movie for which there is pretty much NO information on it. I've seen the film before, and I LOVED it, and so I thought that it would be a good idea to write about Monte Hellman's "Two-Lane Blacktop." Little did I know that that film is now out of print, and the cheapest copy of it (that I have seen so far) is $40. However, that movie is a classic, so I would probably end out forking out the cash. I'd also like to see if I can find David Lynch's "Blue Velvet," and John Waters' "Desperate Living," on dvd. That'd be sweet. And I know that both of those movies are still in print, so they shouldn't be too expensive. I'd also really like to check out more works by these directors as well. Kenneth Anger is also really good, and some of his stuff is on youtube, so if you're bored, you should go there and check him out.
