Last night was great.
It started a little rough, the place where I was supposed to have dinner with the fam had a two hour queue, so we went somewhere else, which ended up being good (an old trusted place, real deal Italian), and then as soon as I got home, I got ready to go out out and Rajan and Katie came to pick me up. We went to Turks Head first and Rajan got me a long island iced tea, and then other people started showing up, and it was awesome. There was dancing going on which was great, and we hung out with Chris, Greg (which was a great thing), Elliot, Dan, and ... yeah that was it. Rajan also got me a hypnotiq and vodka which was different but good, then Elliot got me a SoCo and lime which I really liked.
After those drinks, we went to a place called Coyote where Katie got me a margarita. When the bardenter was making my margarita, I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I looked up and saw Adam looking shady. I gave him a big hug and a kiss and told him we were at the table near the door. I enjoyed my margarita and did what I always do with Adam which is give him long sexy kisses on the cheek which normally go nowhere. But last night, however, oh it went somewhere. At one point, I kissed him on the mouth and said, "remember how it's my birthday?" And he kissed me back and we totally made out. Wow. That was awesome. I went to get a drink with him and I bought him a beer. We kissed again a few times because, as I put it to him, "If I'm gonna have you for one night, I'm gonna make the most of it."
I don't remember what time we ended up leaving, things after making out with Adam were kinda fuzzy this morning. In fact, I didn't even remember that I made out with Adam until I was brushing my teeth this morning. It was like in a movie, I literally slowed down my brushing and stopped, looked in the mirror, and thought to myself, "Oh my god, I made out with Adam!" It was great. I am very satisfied. And I'm not gonna do what everybody thinks I'm gonna do, which is what I would have done a few years ago, which is try to make a relationship out of it. I'm perfectly content with the way it happened and the fact that it happened at all.

Happy birthday to me. It was wonderful. A good time was had by all. I was pretty sick all day today, though. It was a waste of a day. And that sucks because I have a lot to do for my teaching this week, not to mention get ready for Dave. At least I cleaned the apartment on Thursday night, that was major heads up on my part. Unfortunately I haven't found an earthworm. Hard to explain unless you're a Secretary fan. Anyway., must get to work. Quickly.
