I am just sleepy these days for no apparent reasons. I guess staying up late makes that happen, so will have to try getting some more sleep. The midnight routine has not been the kind one on my senses and the most peculiar thing is that coffee actually makes me doze off faster than usual. My theory is that I have passed the point of no return, where something changes its effect on the organism like when you eat too much chocolate and instead of yummy you want to puke.
Anyways I still have to talk about Monday and boy what a day that was. I had to wait for 5 hours straight to finish my exam in computer science, since the practical was meant for the afternoon, but due to crappy scheduling two groups came at the same time and we had to wait for around 5 hours until the last of our group got his grade. I wasn’t allowed to the practical since I had more credits and I wasn’t allowed to present my project due to the current situation and through a simple mathematical equation I got a B, which is fine and dandy considering they wasted my time for nothing. What is worse is that we had no place to sit down in the hallway and we couldn’t go buy things since we waited for our turn and we had no idea who would be called. It’s like being stuck in a survival suspense movie. Alfred Hitchcock would have made a movie about this one.
Writing wise “Grey Stilettos” is growing fast and nice and unlike with other projects I am actually making notes on what to layer in later on as to not jinx the writing fluidity within the 1 K sessions. It’s a trial and error process and I am proud to announce that if I keep my lazy ass once a day working it should be done by the end of the month as a final, final rough draft. So far I have 4,868 words from what may end up being 10, 000, which makes it ultra hard to pitch to a magazine, but who knows.
Oh yeah and recently after I started watching a hallmark of my pre-teen childhood “Digimon”, the initial two seasons, I remembered that I was pretty good at drawing these monsters and well guess who is determined to teach himself how to draw. Truth be told as you may have noticed I simply love art and have been begging the higher powers that I get a pencil of drawing artifact. But as with all things this takes practice and well a friend told me that drawing can be taught with hard work. I am not sure how seriously I am going to take this, but I have been smiling like an idiot ever since I started copying stuff for training and made a resemblance.
