kingdom

Realizing today that it’s not about you or I, or even this life. It’s not even about the God I call Almighty. It’s about His kingdom. Unlike every king this world has seen, it’s about the people that make up the kingdom. Where everyone is an heir to the throne. He sent His son, the prince of all lifetimes and lifetimes to come, to further His kingdom through death and resurrection. That’s why it says “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God”. Because it’s not about Him, it’s the betterment of the kingdom. I never understood the ways of God, and don’t pretend to now. I understand why He’s selfish now. It’s not because He knows everything, but because He knows the outcome of every choice we have to make. He sees a path that all miss. He reveals it through trails, patients, persecution, and knowing that He is God.
Sometimes Beauty is found in the hideous. And sometimes meanings are found when there are none. I’ve spent my life just reading His word, and studying His ways. But I’ve never gone below the surface levels of His teachings. I’ve never sought the reasons why. I’ve only trusted that they are the way. This just adds to the majesty of the king that I seek. That when I least expect it, He has something new to offer me. Something that is more intimate than man or woman. More precious than love in it’s self. I will never question God’s will or motives. But I will be always open for Him to reveal something new about Him to me.

Father usher me into your sonship, that I will never be worthy of. Show me the meaning behind your ways. Reveal yourself to me in a new way every single day of my life.
