Teaser/Summary: Why on Earth would Penn and Blake have separate hotel rooms in Mexico if they are in this freaking country as a couple?
Part IV
Penn is starting to feel rather turned on. Those two women - now he’s sure of that - are getting it on right next to him, for God’s sake. One of them, particularly loud, has been moaning and swearing for a long time.
He has already counted 6 “God”, 5 “Jesus” and now they’re going towards the Catholic saints. They’ll probably have to go to Hinduism, Buddhism, Islamism and Judaism because they’re running out of names real fast.
Penn tries to think about Blake. He’s really trying to make it work. It’s not all PR, he does care about her more than he should. She’s fun, relaxed, and it’s great to talk to her. He can count on her to make him laugh and cheer him up when he’s not expecting it.
It’s not fiery passion, unconditional love, and that worries him a bit. Perhaps it means they’re in an adult relationship. Perhaps they just have to figure out how they work together. He’s afraid she doesn’t feel the same. At least not with the same intensity. He’s not sure if it’s for real, if they can last more than a couple months.
The boy turns on the television, trying to get his mind off things.
