So, it's 3 AM here and I just got in from celebrating my friends birthday. We went bar hoppin' out in the Mission district. Twas fun times. It started out as a huge crowd of people...but people left and it eventually dwindled down to 5 people. I actually operate better in smaller groups so my night got more enjoyable as people left. Haha, that makes me sound horrible.
Right now, I'm the only one here in the apartment. I'm supposed to have 3 other roommates. I'm the first to check in since new students check in early and I think returning students don't check in until Wednesday. So there's a chance I might have this place all to myself for the next few days unless one of my roommates decides to check in early. And I must say, it's a really nice apartment. It's 2 floors, 2 full baths, a kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 loft, dinning room and living space area complete with fireplace and there's also a washer and dryer within the apartment. The bedroom and loft have bunk beds and the loft and living space each have 2 drafting tables. I'll possibly take pictures tomorrow and post them to livejournal or something.
Like I said in a previous entry, everything so far seems a bit surreal....almost like a dream. I'm not used to change this big. I am truly on my own out here. No parents to help me. And I'll need to familiarize myself with street names, bus routes, and all the buildings/shops in the area. I'll also need to memorize shuttle schedules to and from the dorms and school buildings. But this city is SO alive! There's so much to do. So many people! So many cute guys walking around! :-)
