A Tale of Clothes

Argh.

Stupid, stupid credit card.

And stupid, stupid Warren- when are you going to learn how to manage money better???

As my away message says- I'll just keep learning... learning... and learning some more ~_~

All is not entirely sunny and pleasant in the world of finances at this exact moment but hopefully this will change before too long.

So back in the 'burg. Gettin' down here was interesting due to the fact that in addition to me and Linds and all our junk, Carl got a ride down with us. So what did this mean? I spent 20 minutes in front of Linds' house throwing out stuff I didn't REALLY need to bring down with me and that I though I could do without. Which almost included my blue mechanic jacket, a pair of JEANS, and sadly, a pair of sweat pants and a pair of corduroys on top of the billion t shirts and dress shirts I left behind *boo hoo* In order to get my hoodies down, I put on 3 hoodies on top of the NEW sweater I got for my birthday and then threw my Gap car coat on top of all that. In my lap, I held a big arm duffel bag with all my button ups and at my feet I tried not to crush my H&M cordoruy satchel, a small red Hechts bag, and my dad's duffel bag that were full of accessories, hair stuff, CDs, random stuff, and more clothes.

It was quite comfortable actually and the drive down wasn't too bad. I made Carl hold onto my jeans and blue jacket that almost got left behind since it was his fault I had to lose 2 bags worth of clothes.

Dinner consisted of myself, Linds and 3 Kappa Sigs (Chris, Jimmy, and Nando) attempting to get food at McD's (near midnight, now) and then Wendy's and then not having the order right when we got back to Ludwell- but whatever, I need to watch what I eat.

Speaking of that- my New Year's Resolution is to wear outfits that have not seen the outside of my closet in months since this means I have 3 other pair of jeans and a gazillion shirts that have been hanging or sit folded in the closet since Septemeber or that have gone from one closet to another in the past year.

In spite of this resolution, I started handing out sweaters last night that I knew I would never wear or that I don't remember why they were bought other than my parents bought them during the first Parents' Weekend 3 years ago. The sweaters never really fit and to be honest, a couple of them look better on Jimmy so my loss is his gain. Or whatever the damn saying is, you know?

If I don't stick to this resolution, I think a yard sale is in order ~_~
