(no subject)
I drew again today for the first time in god knows when...(ok I know when...about oh..May?). Felt good to make something with a pencil and paper again. *smiles*
I'm starting my first online class tommorow..algebra for dorks. *lol* kidding but I'm doing the ramping up to taking the actual for credit class pre-class. If I asked for anyone to give me a karmic nudge, it would be for focus and discipline to complete my task. I'm going b back to college to finish my associates degree to complete either a(n): Elementary education degree, Nursing, dental hygene, or if I were going to say a pie in the sky one...computer animation.
I'm going to see Snow Patrol this week. If you haven't heard of them...check em out. I was very impressed the first time I heard them, and I continue to love their music and lyrics.
Finally bowed to the mighty netflix and signed up. First stop? Aeon Flux and Crash. Crash was amazing, and made me cry. I'll probably never watch it again. Aeon Flux had moments but...eh...ok overall. Then on to Seaon 1 of Battlestar Galactica. I'm liking it...a-loht. And I'll admit it, yes...perhaps against popular opinion but I really like the Starbuck character. She's brassy, brazen, talented in the cockpit and underneath the toughgirl facade, emotional and real. I appreciate the way they've written her and I like her style. As good as firefly? No. But that's would be difficult for any show to surpass IMHO.
