My week in a nutshell
It was a good week. Good by the definition of I got alot done and I didn't suffer a mental breakdown which I do very often. All of my All State stuff is sent, done, gone bbye, that makes me happy and it lifts huge amounts of stress off of my shoulders. I also sent in my SAT registration, so that's done too:) That all makes me very happy. I am keeping up with my classes so far, and by that i mean that I haven't gotten to a topic I had trouble with, which I amsuprise dabout especually in music theory, I'm getting all my work done too, hopefull that will last, but I strongly doubt that. I really am enjoying classes and I really feel like i'm learing alot in the classes i'm taking and that is so refreshing and nice. I had my first guidance/college appt. on thursday as well. My councelor is out on maternity leave, and the intern is very new and I get the feeling that he may not know exactly what he's talking, I may be wrong, I def have to get to know him and I absolutley will give him a chance cause i'm like that, I hope it all will be alright. I have to get all of my stuff into guidance by october 15ish so I can get my guidance recomendation and I have to ask teacher's for recos as well. After that I need to actually apply,write essays and schedule auditons. When i write it all out and i look at the big picture I just am like wow, that's nuts, but i'm taking it one day at a time and it will be alright. I take small steps cause I am messed up and I don't deal well with stress, but you all know that;) I'm gonna make it all work though, i've come to far and worked to hard, I'm doing baby, just try and stop me.
Rehersals for the one acts are going very well and I love our show more and more every day, I am very excited and happy to be a part of them and I am really looking forward to seeing how they turn out:)It's been a wonderful time so far!
Back to school night was thursday, I really enjoyed that. I thought we did a great job and really came together and sounded really nice. I felt like we were really working well as a group. I am verrrry encited:) We also did some scat which was so much fun. i did a convo w/jim, and that was so much fun, eeeep I <3 scatting :)
This weekend was good, very good in fact. Saturday was party time and that was uber fun, I just danced my ass of and had an absolute blast, t'was very fun. Today was nothing really. I did hw, and practiced my mono and song for the musical. eeeep I have a bit of a cold and some of my hight notes like my high c, d and e aern't comming out at all, that really worries me, I assume it's cause i'm sick and my thraots a bit outa wack, grrr i want them to come back. that kinda stuff scares me, I hope that all comes back :/
anyway, that pretty much was my week in a nutshell, I audition for the musical tmrw eeeeeeeeeeep *crosses fingers* I feel very prepared, but we'll see, that doesn't mean anything. So here's hoping for a good auditon and a good week, and same to everyone else:)
