There should be a record that always knew what you wanted to listen to. You would take it out of it's folder (that had a design that you would like more than anyone else) and you would hold it in your arms as close as you could. Then you would just hold it there for as long as you felt it would need to understand how you feel. And when you turned on your record player and placed the needle on the record, out would come the song that you needed to hear. A song that was perfect. That song would stay there until you showed the record how you were feeling again. And even then maybe it would be the same because maybe you'd need that song still. If there wasn't a song created yet that fit your feeling it would find one from the future and you would be the only person that got to hear that song until years or well moments later. I don't think it could work with a cd. CDs aren't romantic enough. Not romantic like love. Romantic like the way your hand feels if you stick it entirely in a bag of rice. I'm that kind of hopelessly romantic. Finding things that are romantic like that is one of my rasions d'etre.
