(no subject)
The last week and a half...
Ok last week at RPI was pretty routine. I got all my homework done and studying so I would be able to have a stress free long weekend. I got my chem test back...not so good. Had a few lounge parties up at BARH..it was all good.
On Friday after STS I drove home. Instead of just relaxing I decided to make baked ziti for Steve's family and then make pumpkin cookies. Matthias, Steve, Shane, Meghan and I were going to go to the soccer game, but Meghan bailed on us, and I was still baking cookies until 8, and after careful consideration for the whether, we all decided to drop that idea and just watch movies instead. So Meghan came over and we watched Dodgeball, which is actually really funny.
Saturday I went to set. Then I drove up to Deer Run with Frankie and Dom (Frankie's parents were camping up there) to visit my parents (who were also up there). Everything went just peachy *sarcasm* So when I got back to Amsterdam I went to Meghan's and we played Clue (<3) and then Shout About Movies (Me and her against Steve..whom we beat, rather badly too!) Then I brought Steve home, and went home myself.
Sunday I didn't do too much until later. I went out to dinner with my grandma, it was her birthday. Then Meghan, Dee, Jen, Shane, Casey and Matthias came over and watched Monster-in-Law and Without a Paddle, brought by Shane and Meghan. Both were really good, and we were all cracking up. It was a lot of fun. Even with the 2 random calls from Steve, NOT that I minded!
Monday my parents came home in the afternoon. I spent my time before that doing some cleaning and laundry for my mom. And then I helped to unload the trailer. After that I went and returned Dom's coat that he left in my car, and talked to his aunt. Then I went to say goodbye to Meghan, and found Shane and Marc there also. We had our group hug..I miss them :-( But after I left there I went dinner with my parents and derek, and then decided I would go back to Meghans. But about half way there I decided that one goodbye was enough. So I went to Walmart to see if they had black ink for my printer (they didn't) Then I went to Dom's and actually talked to him for a few minutes. And then I went home and packed up my stuff and drove back here.
We decided that we were going to celebrate Mike's birthday last night (well we decided that last week but you know what I mean!) so I went up to BARH and we had cake. Rachel and I didn't stay for long, but I came back here and talked online until midnight. And then went to sleep.
So far today I've only had classes. And I still have 2 more hours before I'm done. Then who knows what I'll end up doing...probably the IEA homework though.
This weekend I am coming home one last time. There are a few reasons for this. The first is that it is family weekend up here..but its really just a repeat of what we did for orientation. So my parents aren't going to come because my mom can't do all the walking and stuff, and its just boring. But since all of my friends parents either are coming up or they are going home, I'd be very bored. At home it is senior show on Friday, something that by itself I don't care that much about since I'm not really friends with many of the seniors, but Janaye, Krista, and OMG ALEX are coming home, so it would be good to see them. After this Joe has permission to tie me down if I try and go home. At least until the play, when I will most definately be going home for, but that will still be like 4 or 5 weeks.
But now I really must return to homework...:-)
