Disturbing Behavior

Everybody seems excited.  And I'm kind of...not.

I think it's because I feel like we're retracing old ground.  I mean, I'm cool with this plotline for Damon,  I just, I dunno, want him to be feeling conflicted?  Damon does conflicted really well.  And he was getting, how should I say it, healthier, becoming more like what I consider his true self to be and I want that acknowledged.  I'm all for backsliding, that happens, it's realistic and it's interesting to watch.  I just don't want him hop skippin' around everywhere without some sort of logic--not real logic because that's not applicable with emotions, but emotion logic.  Does that make any sense at all?

Also, ELENA I AM ANGRY WITH YOU.  It's not really your fault though.  It's weird, abrupt writing to me.  If she has to be conflicted about her feelings for the brothers, can we make it more "I still love Stefan, I know what he's doing telling me to go away, but now Damon is here and supporting me and he's really great WHAT DO I DO WITH THESE FEELINGS????"  As opposed to, Stefan sucks and Damon's hot.  I understand her being upset over Stefan, I really do, but it feels strange for her to be suddenly all about Damon, which is what this feels like to me.  I haven't felt like there's been enough build-up in that department.

Although, that being said, there was the argument between the two of them at the end WHICH WAS AWESOME, so maybe we're going in a good direction with that.

Stefan was going to undead Elijah.  WHY CAN'T THIS HAPPEN????

Also CAROLINE.  Best.  Ever.

And Katherine/Damon road trip?  Sign me up!
