in a swimmer's dream of drowning, love is found
deep in the honey cave where sound doesn't echo but drips back into itself
where the behavior protects the behaved in an understanding bliss
balancing at the door of a kiss
neither in or out, but happy in the heat of hesitance
in the weather of whether or not
where even a toe tipped to test the water is a temptation too strong to risk
open eyes to a pattern you can't resist
this is even a place for the odd miscelleneous you miss
present a current in the ocean of now
knowing to drown is an attempt to prolong the truth
to let go and become is the way to live, by giving in to yourself
swallowing the truth without struggle like a fish
cause to drown in unknowing is a nightmare for eternity
(this poem is not about avoiding the physical death but accepting a spiritual self realizing)
