Failure of Procrastination
Yeah, double post today, because I didn't want to talk about Katie's wedding and then launch in to moans about school.
Which starts again in... 5 days. including today. *twitches*
OK... so the Monday and Tuesday are a retreat at Victor Harbour, but it's still school! Next wednesday will be a day off for us year 12's, and boy am I glad about that. I suspect I'll still be working on the whole freaking chapter of Maths work that was dumped on us on the last day of last year.
Summer holiday school work. It should be murdered with a blunt spork. Seriously.
I'm currently procrastinating over the Maths. I've done my Biology questions, I've read the Critical Reading booklet for English (and grumbled at the "fictional characters do not live on outside the pages, so stop imagining that they do." *scowls* That's just mean), and I've read half of the so called general history book for Modern World History. Haven't looked at my Chemistry stuff yet either...
*sighs* I was doing so well in procrastinating over my school work, first with Christmas, then with New Years, then My birthday, then catching up with Mady a lot, scrapbooking, and finally Katie's Wedding. But I've run out of excuses.
And on top of that, I can 'decorate' my school stuff like I usually do; with pictures of fanart that I love, friends, random photos and/or fractals, ect. Or even funny quotes printed out. Because I can't print them out.
Our stupid printer decided that it had a paper jam; just one problem with that: there was not a single skerrik of paper in that printer. Anywhere. We pulled it apart as much as we could, and still found nothing. It's currently at the computer shop being fixed. Hopefully.
But not having it here is startin to really peeve me off. Stupid technology. (Our camera's crappy too, I've decided. Need a better one. It's certainly no good for my new found interest in photography.)
Oh, oh, oh! I nearly forgot! I've (finally) posted another chapter of Take My Hand again!
Metamorph: May '76
As you might've guessed from the title, it involves Nym's first changes, but also a bit of angst in regard to Andy and Ted.
I'm also currently waiting for my lovely beta, Jaya, to get back to me with both Justification's second chapter, and Shattered Glass' third chapter. Yes. You read right. An Update on Shattered Glass. Shocking, no?
