i didn't get a chance to watch the debates last nite on TV but thank the door for educational channels on the radio. i got to listen in as i drove up to see my Karyn. the debates were intense. i can't wait to catch the other two. Kerry spent most of the evening dismantling Bush's campaign. Bush spent most of the time on defense. Kerry sounded more confident and used terms like "i'll tell you exactly what i'll do." i liked that. to me, Bush didn't really give any clear plans or explanations for what he did in office other than "Idid what's best for America." Kerry sounded like he was really ready for this debate. he didn't studder or bumble as much as Bush. Bush even laughed at Kerry a few times. is the war a laughing matter? in my mind, Kerry was the winner of this debate. it wasn't the blowout he needed but it set the pace for the next two debates. Kerry REALLY needs to kick some ass next Friday to really gain some ground.
