Over the Edge

Dear Hillary,

Face it, you've lost. You are shooting yourself in the foot for any future in American politics. The fat lady has already sung, you look silly, and while I didn't dislike you at the start of the race, you give me a new reason every day to dislike you more. It's over. Pack your bags. Stop giving your campaign loans (really another 6.4 million in the last month? You know you could fund a lot of health care with a private charity with that if you really cared and tuned into reality.) If in the outlandish chance you get the nomination, I for one will not be able to vote for you in the general. If the voice of the people are superseded by super delegates then I see no point in voting. I would feel exactly the same if the situation was reversed. I don't care about Michigan and Florida. First off, you are the only one that was on the ballot in Michigan, breaking from what others in the party had decided. You turned your back and cared about you before the group as a whole. You are also the only candidate that visited Florida, the others followed the rules. These states knew what would happen if they moved their primaries forward and they did it anyways. You want to reward them for going against rules that your party set up? That sets a really poor precedent in my mind. It's not your time. While it may be heartbreaking to face it, you must. Because you are hurting much more than your reputation. You want to know why you won in Indiana yesterday? 10% of voters were Republican. Of those, 8% voted for you. You won by 2%. In a state that suposedly was your type of voter, blue-collar, middle America. According to polls 20% of the people who cast ballots for you yesterday in Indiana say that you are not trustworthy. We don't need another president we can't trust.

Disgusted,

Me
