Memory is basically how fast your computer can be, getting things from the harddrive when you need it is very very slow, while getting it from the memory is not that slow. A large memory means your computer will run faster because it doesn't have to bother with going to the harddrive so often (see, taking Operating Systems paid off in the end). The Graphics card has a whole little memory of its own. RPM is rounds per minute and is how fast your hard drive spins, also affecting how fast your computer is. A Duo procressor means that there are two processors acting as one (I think), 2,13 GHz is how fast this baby is. I believe that is how many operations it can preform per second. An operation would be to fetch something from memory, store something somewhere, add two numbers, etc.
S'all right, Lady. I know the basics pretty well, like what does what, but I don't know anything about what brands are better or how those numbers compare to anything, but it's definitely better than my last.
It supposedly won't be built until the 24th though, so I'll need to borrow your baby for a bit I'm afraid...

In short that looks like a neat computer.
