Summary: Gotham, hi. Remember her, Stephanie?
The best thing about flying, the really best thing about flying, is that she doesn't need grapnel to do it with.
Being dead is pretty much a small price to pay for the feeling. The wind is going through her as much as it's going around her, and her hair moves not according to the turbelence but because it just is, and the Spoiler suit stays as if she's on the ground, stiff and relentless, but hell, she's flying.
Now she knows why Superman is always smiling when he's not kicking ass in the sky.
And she can go through things. Like cars -- with lots of teenagers in make-out mode -- and buildings (no more having to sneak into the boys' dorms! Yeah, baby!) and the occasional Bat-Cave.
She doesn't patrol with them because she finds it pointless. (Why try to sock a goon when your fist goes straight through him?) So she hangs out in the cave or the Manor, or with Alfred, who doesn't know she's there.
Thanks to the afterlife, she's figured out the "Big Secret" a long time ago. Brucie is certainly obsessive when he wants to be. For instance, when she doesn't feel like phasing into the Cave, she uses the grandfather clock down the hall, which you can rearrange until it reads '10:14' -- the exact time his parents died.
See, you'd never see her do that with her father's death. That's why tombstones are for.
Though she does love the look on Alfred's face when the grandfather chimes for no reason.
And she doesn't spend that much time with Tim. A lot more with Cass for some reason, because Tim can get over her (slowly), but Cass...is having a hard time about her. She even cries in her sleep, and since she now knows how to talk, it's a little more sadder than usual.
Good thing she forgot how to cry.
And she's not mad about Tim wanting to clone Kon, she doesn't want a clone of herself, she wants to be her again. So it's better if Tim doesn't, for her sake.
At least, she keeps telling herself that.
It's gonna be better, she knows that. For all of them. For Cass and for Tim and for herself.
They've all gotta hang on until then, though.
