You should really read Red Robin #1-#12. Tim is *awesome*.

Also, I don't follow everything in the Batverse, but more or less...

At the end of Final Crisis,
Bruce shot Darkseid, and was Omega Beam-ed back.
Everybody was: OMG Batman iz ded.

Everybody said to Dick: you should be Batman now.
Dick wasn't sure.
Jason wanted to be gunhappy-Batman.
Dick was sure about that being a no-no.
Dick became Batman.

Dick let Damian be Robin.
Tim was O_o after the fact.
Dick was "Hey, he's Bruce's kid, he's League of Assassins-trained, and he's insane. Think of it as occupational therapy."
(ok, not really)
Tim was *whatever*

Damian is all "you are all lowly peasants and whatnot, but at least Grayson is marginally competent (*unenthusiastic shrugging*)"

Stephanie said "I'm Bagirl now, 'cause Cass said I should be."
No-one is brave enough to argue the point with either of them.

Tim figured out Bruce wasn't dead, just Lost in Time.
Tim took the Red Robin persona and went globetrotting to find Proof and Clues.
Along the way, he fought with and against Ra's.
By the end of Red Robin #12, Ra's knows Not To Fuck With Tim.
It was AWESOME.

Weird stuff happened, and now Bruce is coming back, one episode of his Lost in Time mini at a time.

this makes much more sense, but maaaaaaaan. i don't like damian at all. i feel like he's going to become a huger pain in the ass after. so dick just kicked tim out of the robin role (or was tim already out?) i really need to read red robin, omg.

where is jason now? are tim and steph even talking? WHAT HAPPENED TO CASS?!??!

FUCK YEAH BRUCE IS COMING BACK FUCK YEAH.

ugh i just couldn't imagine him being dead forever.

Hello!

Jason is lying down for now --- his fight with Dick didn't go well (truly, don't read it, he was very badly characterized).

Damian is, well, he's no Tim, but he's slowly becoming interesting. He's still a brat, but Dick's influence is rubbing off. I think Tim was sort of between personas at the time (he even dressed as Batman for like five minutes, but that was mostly to distract Jason).

No idea of what happened to Cass, and the way she was being written post Batgirl, not sure I want to know.

Tim and Steph interacted a bit after he came back from his Red Robin trip. He's very admiring of the way she kicks ass, but she's currently pissed off at him because of a bit of a sitcom thing (Lucius Fox sent his daughter to look after Tim [it was ultimately because Hush, looking like Bruce, was giving away the Wayne fortune], so she found him and learned that Tim is a superhero, basically by having adventures with him; then when they came back to Gotham Vicky Vale pushed her for information about their trips and whatnot, and on the spur of the moment, Tam blurted out that they were engaged... Needless to say, that ended up on the newspapers, and Steph is somewhat miffed at not having been at least told beforehand or something about Tim marrying somebody... not that Tim was aware, either :) )

ugh, that always seems to be the thing to do with jason these days--make him into the asshole badguy so there can always be that villain (plus angst because, you know, we really don't have enough of that ever with the bat-family.) i'll stay away from it, thanks for the warning.

i'll have to reserve judgment then! i'm not sure if it's come out already, but i saw a cover with damian seconds away from beating the joker over the head? are they bringing that entire arc back again?!

oy, i hope tim finds something. i don't know how i feel about him being red robin. obviously he'll be less violent than jason (who i think held the title before?) but i'm so freaking tired of tim excluding and being excluded and i totally think he should have remained robin, but hey that's just me.

ugh, okay. hope she's okay, somewhat.

hahahaha awwwwww that's adorably tim, getting himself into MORE trouble. i just hope their interactions aren't TOO awkward (i heard something about a foot in a gut?) because i really do love them and hope something can be done with them because MAN DO I HATE how their entire relationship worked out. from a few scans i've seen steph is still her awesome self and doesn't take all his brooding seriously, so it could turn out really good.

There was an.. unfortunate kick. But things got patched up afterward, it seems. And while I'm not a big fan of Red Robin's name or uniform, Tim is using it to do Tim-stuff, mostly.

Haha, good. :) I don't like it either, but as long as Tim's being Tim beneath it, I'm all good. I still say he should hock it as soon as possible, though.
