And thank YOU for your advice! :D I changed it and thought, Yes, this definitely makes a difference, whee~ :)
I'm glad the last scene worked. I still have reservations about the way I shifted from Amelia to Claire's appearance in the scene, but I wanted to avoid the long introspective paragraphs I'd used earlier in the fic and show Amelia's mental numbness/blankness by absence of words (and thus, absence of conscious thought).
That's why episode 4.20 struck such a chord with me. Besides the creepily wonderful acting of Claire!Castiel and Misha Collins's transitions between Castiel and Jimmy (his faces were completely different, I was honestly weirded out lol), the collateral damage is something that isn't touched on very much. Jimmy led a normal life and got caught up with the thought that he could help do something important for heaven, what with the whole this is the most important thing in my life line, but he surely came to regret that. And the consequences are never going to end. Sam and Dean have carried the supernatural with them all their lives, but what about the people who stumble into it? Adaptation is never so easy.
Thank you once again for your help! And for writing such a lovely comment as well. :)

That first scene in 4x20 where Jimmy is eating a hamburger (I think?) and Sam and Dean are staring at him and his not-Castiel-ness was fabulous.
If you watch the series in a certain mindset, the actual horror that's inflicted on these guest-star/extra families is pretty intense. (Obviously the canon doesn't do a particularly good job of playing up this angle, but I don't suppose it endeavors to do so. XD) This fic elaborated on that feeling and put words and moments to it very beautifully.
I'm glad you felt my comments were useful! Though the loveliness of this fic is entirely your own doing, I assure you. :)

LOL I know! Also the moment near the end of the episode, where MC switches from bleeding Jimmy on the ground to blank Castiel just like that. I always wonder what happens to the guest-star-characters once their experience is over; probably much more jumpy and feeling more disconnected from those around them.
