at 3:30, after a two hour reading break, i came back to the computer lab and randomly sat down at a computer. i looked down at the carpet and saw my shoes, which i'd apparently left there two hours before (i was wearing flip-flops... always prepared).

i'll never mistreat you again, blue/rust/mustard wanteds. i wore you on my first day of college, and i will continue loving you until a big hole forms in your "man-made upper."
